Martin MacDonald
Martin is committed to fostering excellence in digital marketing in his newfound homeland of Barbados. After relocating from San Francisco in 2020, Martin set in motion the plans for BBSEO. After hosting the first international digital marketing conference in Barbados in 2022, he also hosts bi-monthly BBSEO:Local meetups with around 50 members from Barbados now attending every meetup.
Prior to living in Barbados, Martin headed up SEO and Landing Page Product at Expedia Global, SEO, Content and Social Media at Orbitz USA, and SEO at Omnicom UK. His SEO career spans back to the late 1990s and he is a regular on the international speaker circuit, having keynoted and presented at over 60 conferences since 2010.
In addition to founding BarbadosSEO, Martin also founded international marketing agency MOGmedia, specializing in large scale Technical SEO campaigns for enterprise clients, custom developed SEO software for use by in-house teams. Martin also launched Serpere.AI, the industries first AI powered full crawler, in 2023.
